My best days in Aamby valley city ( Personal post)
1st day Aamy valley city (Photos will be updated soon)
Packed everything from the room and car picked us to
lonavala. It took 3.30hrs for 130 km to reach Aamby valley from Mumbai. While
travelling as usual we enjoyed the beautiful nature of the
hill, grasslands, clouds which are heading towards roads and event driver
couldn’t see the road clearly the clear vision must be 6ft distance only. What
a climate OMG !! . When we reached the aamby valley city Naveen kumar (did aeronautical
engineering in Bangalore and wanted to be a pilot but time made him to be here
in aamby valley nd working for the musical fountain). He helped us to take in
because in aamby valley the persons who are working there or who have a guest
house will be permitted. But Naveen is not directly working under them and he
is working for our company and helping and maintaining, doing the show in aamby
valley. He provided us stay and food which will be costly much more because the
things had been like that. He took us to the lake where a control room was
there and in that lake a mass structure of pipes were connected with lights and
all .when we entered the room in 6 rows totally 60 boxes were present of height
6 ft. Everything which present in the control were costlier. With Chinese
company collaboration our company did this project 3 years back and from the
starting itself Naveen take care of this fountain. Now he is having only 4 assistants
( 4 persons from lonavala but not skilled as Naveen and being here for last 3
months) and in the first day itself we came to know about submergible pump which
was repairing when we entered the room by the 4 persons. So we could observe
that and after checking everything by boat Naveen took us to the fountain area
in the lake by boat. I took 1.30 hrs. to remove the submergible which already
there under water and fixed this good one there. Actually the entire set up is
go until 40 m depth. Among 4 Michael went down to the water and remove the
screws/bolts and it helped them to remove the submergible pump and as I said
earlier they fixed the right one there. There are 3d nozzles, 2d nozzles,
lights etc. which we could seen easily and nothing we knew about that . At 3
P.M we returned to control room and had our lunch with the four they don’t know
English much but understand somewhat and we don’t know Hindi that’s the funniest
part..
The worst thing aamby valley is there will be raining always
it will triple the work by spending more time and in a year over 6 months the
raining will be there and you can feel that for every 10 minutes drizzling to
heavy rain.
Bandh karo ki chalu karna – which means Switch off and on
again (I think) which we heard so many times and practiced it :P when they took
us to light boxes and repaired some lights .
Finally we came to the operator room and showed show without
using big speakers outside the room which is actually used while original show.
Due to the presence of us specially he showed the show and gave a headset which
helped us to hear the music along with the fountain.
Frankly it was better and when titanic music was coming my
heart beat raised because Iam somewhat sensitive to this idiotic romance songs
and all. Totally 8 computers were there and among one the headset was connected
unfortunately my friend disconnected the headset when Naveen called us for
something and the show also became worse and the fountain is not worked
properly. Then only Venkat(among the 4 persons working here) said us without
headset the show won’t work.
We ruined the show actually anyhow it was actually for us
and we ruined it. Naveen said no problem be tension free and somewhat he
inspired me because I know we made a big mistake and he didn’t shout at all and
simply saying no problem.
Due to the musical fountain as live and my attitude became
changed being in Mumbai and also due to those romantic songs played while the
show. I simply called my friend ( :P ) and talked boldly which I have been
trying for last 3-4 months but couldn’t make it. But I did it today and made a
clever discussion which made me happy.
Naveen told us I know little bit only and I will teach you
what I know (But actually he know more) tomorrow we will discuss about the
fountain and step by step we will go further, he added further.
Day 2 in aamby valley
Independence Day of India
Again started the same light works and actually involved in
fishing today. Unfortunately we couldn’t get any fishes but he guys in the fish
club got fishes and told us to take photos with that and we understood that
every people come here are just taking photos with fishes which was actually
not done by them. So as it as the club man told us to do the same thing and why
shouldn’t we miss that: P ? So we took photos hehe.
Today some decisions was taken by me and with some maturity by
discussing with my friend ( don’t know ) and finally cleared that the friend must
be my friend forever not anything else it felt good and something’s which I didn’t
like but it made sense and diverted my entire thing into my career.
Day 3
Someone called Naveen in the morning and he might be the
officer from aamby valley office and told him to do a favour of doing show
today. Usually if a show is needed then it should be informed before 24 hours
but somehow Naveen accepted for the show and we get ready for that. Out of 20
light boxes 11 were corrected and due to rain remaining couldn’t be corrected and
for 4 sets of light boxes containing 5 light boxes three in 3 sets were corrected
and in remaining one set only 2 were corrected but it’s not a problem for the
show.
Rain is the biggest problem here it made some light boxes
not working which had worked yesterday it was due to yesterday rain at night.
After repairing all, the show has been fixed at 7.45 P.M. We poured some 40
litres of oil in a machine which will send the oil to the pipe near nozzles in
the fountain and create fire.
Everybody in the ammby valey were informed and they came at
1 hr. before the show actually. At 7.40 P.M the show was started but due to software problem
the show stopped and did it again when we saw Naveen who went to every control panel
boxes (totally 60 boxes of 6 feet OMG) and if
we touch the wires mistakenly even bones can’t be
identified.
Manually he did everything and the show was went for 20
minutes and everybody enjoyed the show. But we identified some mistakes which couldn’t
be identified by others because we worked here and could easily identified the
mistakes.
Hats off to Naveen who made the show wonderful and no one
couldn’t have a chance to see such a show but we got due to our company and
Naveen.
Will u accept it when I say current bill for one show is rs. 40000 ? and it consuming 280000 KW electricity per show
